Tracy of Lattedah designz made a new kit called "Bee Happy", after the winter we have had here in the Chicago area this kit is nice to look at and to hope for some warm weather in the near future!

I am back and with cable internet! No more dial up for me and downloading and uploading are so much faster. So hopefully I will be much better with this blog. If only this were my fulltime job I would be great at it!! lol......

Happy Birthday Tessie

October 25th was my Sister's birthday. We had a great night, we had gone to see the "Jersey Boys". We had gone with good friends and a co-worker of my sister. We had dinner at Rosebud's in Chicago then had gone to the play.

Afterwards we returned to Rosebud's for dessert. While we were there some of the cast members came and I was able to get their autograph and a picture taken with them! It was a great night.

Great Weekend

I am having a gret weekend, our Daughter Katie and her boyfriend and our Son Kevin came home from school for the weekend. My husband & I joined Katie & Matt for train trip to downtown, Chicago. We had walked to Millenium Park and then onward to the Cheesecake factory for a bit to eat followed by a trolley ride to Navy Pier. It was a fun time!!!

Computer

My computer is back! It was so frustrating, going without a computer for a week! Then when I did pick it up and bring it home the problem still was not fixed..... I thought I was going to be in headlines for wanting to throw the computer through the store window!!!! grrrrrrr but I did contain myself and I was back at the store the next morning and spoke with the manager. I did take a deep breathe before explaining my frustrations to him, so it is working now. I am so behind with working with my CT teams. I hope you ladies understand.... I promise I will make it up to you. I did get 2 awards while I was away!!!! YIPPEE. I will be posting them.
Our Son is home from college this weekend for fall break so we are enjoyig having him home. My husband went down to visit him and our daughter last weekend for Homecoming. It is also my husband's alma mater so he enjoyed the time with them. I will be back to post my awards.

Leaonna from busycrappin gave me this award. I owe Leaonna a lot, she has spent endless hours and energy on me, teaching me and giving me suggestions on scrapping. She has been patient through my computer problems and with my dial up issue where as she could have just found someone else to work with. THANK YOU so much Leaonna!!

Now I have to give this award to 3 others......

1. Definitely my first choice is to Tracy of Latte` Dah designs she also has taken me under her wing to help expand my knowledge and techniques.

2. My 2nd choice is to Deb from 2MrsSumners designs She also has spent many nights chatting online helping me with computer issues and offering her help.

3. My 3rd choice goes to Stellarific Creations, I hadn't known her long but she was warm and open to me when I came to the team on busyscrappin. She is a great designer and also always ready to help me.

Computer problems

My scrapping folder is on an external hard drive so I wont be taking up so much room on our hard drive since the family shares the same computer. Well my external drive is not cooperating and hopefully is not dieing....... ouch. I am trying to slavage my folder from it but until then I cant post any of my QP's or LO's to share. I am hoping to solve this problem soon otherwise I have a lot of downloading to do again to start up duplicate files OUCH!!! I hope to be back posting soon........

September 11th/ Happy Birthday Jeff!

September 11th is not only memories of the 9/11 disaster but it is also our son Jeff's birthday. So every year it does have a damper due to the 9/11 attack but we do try to celebrate some for our Son. Usually for a birthday the person gets to pick where the family will go to dinner. Jeff is a big Pasta lover, so dinner was at Olive Garden this year. With our daughter and son at school the family was smaller but we did have our good friend "Aunt Julie to the kids" join us so we did have a good time.

I used the QP that I made from the "Autumn Memories" kit. This is a picture of our kids about 4 years ago. We spent the day in Long grove, IL. It is a small town with country stores. They make homemade apple cider and chocolate dipped strawberries amongst other country favorites.

Blog Makeover

I know I have been bad with this blog and had neglected it. Tracy from Lattedah designs encouraged me to revamp it and get it going again so I did. I used the Denin Chic4 layout that I found at jt samples. Thank You Tracy for the encouragement. A lot has happened over the year since I last wrote. I am still on the CT for Michelle at shopcraftyscraps, I also joined the CT for Leaonna at Busyscrappin and the CT for Tracy at Lattedah designs. Recently I have been named QP Sue and I will be making QP's for all of the designers at shopbusyscrappin. I owe a BIG Thank You to Leaonna & Tracy first for having confidence in me and also for guiding me along the way. I hope you will take a few minutes to visit their sites. I have a lot of LO's to post that I have done over the year and also QP's that I have made and have been given as freebies. So please bear with me but I hope to get this blog up and running again!

My daughter had a GREAT first year at college so good that she decided to stay there for the summer. She had landed a internship job with the Quincy Gems baseball team and worked at the stadium during their season. She also worked in the PR office at her school. This year she has her younger brother Kevin with her at school so she is showing him the ropes of college life. So I am 1/2 a empty nester!! We still have 2 at home, Jeff our oldest is continuing his studies toward his associates degree in criminal justice at the community college and Tim our youngest started HS this year!!! So it is time for Mom to start getting her own life now and I am happy to be doing it with digi scrapping!! :)

Hello I am new to this blog thing so please bear with me. I started digi-scrapping about 5 months ago. I became a part of Michelle's team on craftyscraps and so now I am trying to broaden my horizon. There is so much to learn and so little time. If only this were my fulltime job I would have no problem. (lol) I am a wife and Mother of 4 children Jeff, Katie, Kevin and Tim who are the world to me. Also a black lab/boxer Star* who is the only female in the house with me now that our daughter is away at college. Well I guess that is all for now. If there is anyone out there willing to give me suggestions with this PLEASE feel free to do so! HELP!!!!
